Clinical practice as
the foundation for
forensic work.

Dr. Singleton's forensic opinions are informed by nearly two decades of clinical practice across a broad range of psychiatric settings and patient populations.

His clinical experience has included inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency services, crisis intervention, assertive community treatment, and addiction psychiatry. He spent seven years with Eskenazi Health and Sandra Eskenazi Community Mental Health in Indianapolis, where his roles included attending psychiatrist, Area Chief Psychiatrist for Emergency Psychiatry, Assistant Medical Director, and ultimately Chief Medical Officer.

He subsequently practiced outpatient psychiatry in a private-practice setting before completing subspecialty fellowship training in forensic psychiatry.

This breadth of clinical experience provides a practical foundation for evaluating psychiatric symptoms, diagnoses, treatment, functioning, and behavior within the more specialized context of forensic assessment.
